You don’t need a full-blown craft sesh to feel creative, just a tiny project that gives you a win right now. So let’s make something together.

💖 What We’re Making:

A super simple mood tracker page using stickers, something that helps you check in with yourself without needing 12 colored pens or a therapy degree.

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • A notebook, journal, or piece of paper
  • 7 stickers that represent different moods (you can pick colors, faces, or just your vibe)
  • A pen or marker

Step-by-Step:

  1. Draw a simple grid or list with the days of the week.
Just Mon–Sun — no need for bullet journal perfection here.
  2. Assign each sticker a “mood.”
    For example:
  • 🌞 = Good vibes
  • 🐸 = Meh but functioning
  • ☁️ = Over it
  • 🔥 = Meltdown incoming
  • 💫 = Creative spark
  • 💤 = Tired
  • 🍕 = Bribing myself with snacks
  1. Add one sticker per day based on how you feel.
This is just for you. No pressure. No aesthetic required.
  2. Bonus: Write one word next to the sticker.
A feeling, a win, a rant, whatever needs to get out of your head.

📸 Optional: Take a pic when you’re done.
Then post it in your stories, tag me, or just stare at it proudly while sipping your cold coffee like a queen.

Why This Works (and Why It Matters)

Listen, this might feel silly or simple, but that’s kinda the point. We’re not trying to win a Pinterest award. We’re just trying to feel something besides “OMG I’m overwhelmed.”

According to Psychology Today, even short, visual journaling can reduce stress and improve self-awareness. And we’re all about low-pressure ways to do that.

  • You’re tracking your emotions visually
No complicated journaling or deep reflections. Just stickers that speak for you. This helps build awareness, which helps with self-compassion.
  • You’re doing something creative without pressure
It’s fast. It’s cute. It’s yours. That tiny dopamine hit? It matters.
  • You’re reminding yourself that small effort still counts
You don’t need a full hour or a clean desk. You just need five minutes and a sticker.

I’ve taught overwhelmed new parents how to care for newborns, juggled shift work with art dreams, and we aren't even going to talk about the toddler, teens, husband, and household!

I get how hard it is to show up for yourself when you’re constantly showing up for everyone else.

But trust me, creativity isn’t something you have to earn. It’s something you deserve just for being human.

💖 Real Talk: You’re Already Creative

I talk to so many women who say, “I’m not creative.”

But sis, listen…
You are. You’ve always been.

If you’ve ever:

  • Decorated a planner
  • Made a cute birthday cake
  • Paired snacks by vibe (don’t lie, we’ve all done it)

Then you’re already doing it.

You don’t need to be more artistic, organized, or anything else. You just need a little time, a little space, and maybe a sticker with a frog on it to remind you that this counts.
